What Does General Liability Cover?
General Liability coverage protects your company against claims that could arise from your business operations and/or products. This is the most basic of commercial policies and usually needs to carry additional endorsements or policies to assist in fully protecting your business and the services you provide.
This policy usually includes a per occurrence limit and an aggregate limit. Coverage limits can start as low as $300,000 per occurrence and increase to $1 million or more. Medical payments are also included. If needed, it could provide property coverage including building and inland marine.
Depending on your business operation, you can add additional endorsements to better protect your business. This policy will not provide coverage for professional liability/E&O. Let us help you determine whether you need General Liability or a BOP (Business Owners Policy).
